Based in Jerusalem, the most populous and diverse city in Israel, participants will become deeply familiar with this historic city while regularly exploring and experiencing other locales throughout the country. Designed for post-high school (gap year) students, Kulanu pairs adventure and hands-on training with valuable college credits opportunities to apply toward future academic endeavors.
program details
The year will be divided into blocks of approximately 4 weeks to allow for a fully immersive experience for each task. Some blocks, such as studies at Hebrew University and volunteering, will be standard, while others, such as Krav Maga, an EMT course and cooking, will be offered as electives to best suit each participant’s interests. Travel is spread throughout the program and includes weekly trips and an extended Europe trip.
Typical daily schedule
The typical Kulanu day begins with discussions over breakfast and an interactive workshop where participants delve, debate, discover and emerge as better educated people, proud of their Jewish identity and ready to tackle life!
The day progresses in accordance with the yearly schedule and also gives plenty of time for working out, sports and plenty of free time to explore on their own and create their own memories.
Three full meals are provided daily in our beautiful facility.
